Impact

How your papers are cited against their field

See citations against your field from NIH’s iCite, then download a report for your promotion packet.

The Impact view: a faculty member’s papers on a Relative Citation Ratio axis with the median NIH-funded paper marked, citations and clinical citations from NIH’s iCite, and a report to download.

How it works

  1. Start from your CV’s papers

Impact reads the PubMed IDs in your CV, so the report covers your own papers.

  2. Get the latest from iCite

One click fetches the figures from NIH’s public citation database. ScienceDex sends iCite your PubMed IDs and nothing else.

  3. Read what each figure means

Relative Citation Ratio, NIH percentile, team size and clinical citations each come with a sentence on what it means and its source.

  4. Download the report

Download Word or print a PDF, with each paper’s figures, your grants and what the figures mean.
