For your IT and privacy offices

Who keeps a CV?
Each person keeps their own CV, and it stays with them when a plan ends.
What does a department see?
Each person’s main CV, never their other CV versions or saved NIH biosketches. Never a home address, a personal phone, private notes or entries marked private. Read the full privacy rules
Is access logged?
Each time someone opens a CV, reads a section or downloads it, that person’s activity log shows who and when.
Can your staff open a CV?
The ScienceDex team can open an account read-only to help, and the person’s log shows each time.
How do people sign in?
With a ConductScience account, or with your school’s login once your IT team and ours connect it. See school sign-in
Can we get our data out?
Faculty download Word files and a full backup of their CV as JSON. Admins download CVs and reports, and your systems can read them through the read API. See the read API
Is traffic encrypted?
Yes. Traffic to the app, and between the app and its database, is encrypted in transit with TLS.
